A Magical Vintage Inspired Destination Wedding in Taormina, Sicily xoxo

Good Morning!

So today is a very special day over here on my little blog... Because today I'm finally sharing the most amazing wedding of Super lovely Michelle & Wojtek ~ from back in June in Taormina, Sicily! Yay!

It so hard to know where to start with this beautiful couple ~ I've so enjoyed getting to know Michelle (creative force behind Fox in The Attic) and Wojtek (Amazing musician extraordinaire... see here!) I feel very honoured to have been chosen to photograph their amazing wedding day! These two sweethearts are just fantastic, so much fun and boy! such a joy to capture! 

Sicily was out of this world beautiful, I completely felt as though I was on a film set, by night the streets were alive with Italian opera and by day the views of the sea and Mt Etna were breath taking ~ just check out that first photograph below (shot on film too) ~ it was the view from breakfast at the Hotel Paradiso, mad huh!?

Michelle & Wojtek were married at one end of Historic town of Taormina, Sicily and following the sweet ceremony and balloon release they walked through the old streets stopping by the big squares first for drinks & confetti, we popped of for a private photoshoot too, then onto the Main Palazzo for the bouquet toss... And finally a little stroll to the candle lit restaurant to dine on a seven course Sicilian feast under a canopy of orange trees. Oh! so dreamy! 

I loved all the personal touches too ~ Michelle's lovely Mother Louise crocheted mini hearts for the favour thank-you bags and also hand embroidered Michelle's flying heart design onto the napkins! I am totally in love with the embroidery hoop Michelle made into a ring pillow, will be ordering mine as soon as we've booked the church hehe! You just must check out her fab creations over on etsy here! 

Oooo and how stunning is that dress it was hand made by Michelle's sweet friend Anna Winston ~ see her fan page here...
